养敌为患:穿成恶毒女配

某 day, I was just relaxin’ at home, thinkin’ about how good life could be. 而 then, a sudden flash of lightning startled me. It wasn’t my house! The lightning struck right outside my window.
I glanced out and saw a massive shadow approaching rapidly. At first, it looked like an ordinary cloud, but the more I watched, the darker and closer it became. A deafening roar split the air, and then—IT was here.

It wasn’t a friendly visit. The entity standing at the edge of the shadow exuded an aura of malice I could feel from afar. My heart pounded; my breath came in short, uneven gasps. This wasn’t just anyone—this was someone who had clearly targeted me for some reason.

I tried to act normal, but something inside rebelled against my efforts. “You… you’re not from here,” I said in a monotone voice as I stepped aside.
The entity froze, its eyes narrowing in disbelief. It reached out with a hand that felt foreign and cold. “Who are you?” it asked in a hushed tone.

I hesitated for a moment before replying. “I’m just a普通 citizen trying to live a quiet life.” That wasn’t the lie I wanted to tell. My heart was already racing as I added, “I didn’t do anything wrong…”
The entity’s expression darkened further with each syllable I spoke. It seemed to grow more powerful with every word, as if it were made of pure energy.
Before I could stop them, they struck—I dodged the attack at the last second, but my body felt the force of the impact long after.

I collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. The world around me felt distorted, as if someone had dipped a needle in墨水 and smeared it across everything. My vision blurred briefly before returning to normal—but I wasn’t the same anymore.
The entity stood there for a long moment, its presence electrically charged. I could feel the energy coursing through my veins, burning away at whatever remnants of humanity I still had left.
Finally, it let go with a slow, deliberate movement. And then—BOOM! A massive explosion shook the ground, leaving a trail of smoke and ash in its wake.

I sat up weakly, trying to catch my breath. The pain was overwhelming; my legs felt like jelly. But something inside me refused to let go of the memory of that encounter. It was too much—too dark, too terrifying.
As I lay there, a voice filled with malice replied to my thoughts. “You’re welcome.” And then it vanished into the horizon, leaving behind only the echo of my own breathing.

I knew that no matter how hard I tried to rebuild my life, this incident would always weigh on me like a burden I couldn’t shake.
But deep down, there was still something inside me that refused to give up. Maybe it was the fire within me—or maybe it was just an illusion of control. Either way, I couldn’t let go of this—this dark truth about myself.

I decided then and there that I would face whatever came my way head-on. Even if it meant fighting a battle as intense as this one, I would rise to the occasion.
After all, everyone has their dark side—or so they think. But in reality, sometimes you just have to embrace your inner darkness—to see how much strength it holds within you.

And if anyone thinks that I can escape this—this nightmare—then they’re wrong. It’s not easy being the girl who was chosen by fate to face such a fiendish foe.
But deep down, I knew there was only one way to truly measure my worth—and that was by facing them.

One day at a time.
