“原来如此!” someone else’s voice said.
I looked up and saw a girl standing there, her clothes torn but still looking fierce. She was holding something that looked like a ball, but it wasn’t the kind I knew.
“Where did you get this?” I asked in disbelief.
“It’s special,” she said with a smile that made my stomach turn. “It’s from a place called Skyfall.”
I narrowed my eyes, trying to figure out what was so different about this ball.
As I followed her through the alley, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and fear. This wasn’t just any game; it was something powerful that could change everything.
The more I ran, the faster the clouds seemed to move. And with each step, I realized how much I depended on this ball. It carried me like a second skin, but there was always something hidden inside it waiting to be unleashed.
When we finally reached her house, I hesitated for just a moment before knocking.
“Who are you?” someone answered at the door.
“I’m here to take my ball,” I said firmly. “It’s not just a toy.”
The woman inside looked shocked but also curious. After asking a few questions, she handed me something I couldn’t stop looking at—a small device that glowed with an unusual light.
“Use it,” she said coldly.
I hesitated again, then took the device and pressed a button. The glow intensified, and suddenly there was no sound around us. The alley outside seemed to fall silent for a moment before everything came rushing back—screams, shouts, and chaos.
The ball I’d been holding had somehow activated something inside me. And with it, time seemed to stop.
I stood there for what felt like forever, watching as the world around me turned into a swirling vortex of colors. When it all faded, I was back where I started, but this time, everything felt different.
“Who are you?” she asked again, now without any patience.
“I’m not supposed to be here,” I lied. “But apparently, I’ve been given more than just a ball.”
She sighed heavily and closed the door, leaving me alone once more.
As I looked at the strange device in my hand, I realized something. This wasn’t just another game; it was a gateway to something much bigger—and I was already inside.
